Prepare
In this guide we will prepare the MetaTrader 4 terminal for the R-50 bot. This process is very easy and should only take a few minutes.

Prepare MetaTrader 4 terminal
Open your MetaTrader 4 terminal to continue with the setup process. Your terminal should now look something like this:
If it is your first time opening MetaTrader 4, your terminal will show 4 existing charts. You may close these charts before continuing.

Verify R-50 installation
We can now verify the correct installation of the R-50 bot by going to the Navigator panel and expanding the "Expert Advisors" list. You should see "R-50" listed here.
If you do not see R-50, please right click on the "Expert Advisors" list and select "Refresh".

Aside from the "R-50" bot, you will also notice the "Receiver-Worker" entry in the same list. This is perfectly normal and can be ignored, as it is part of the default installation.
Open new chart
To use R-50, you only need to attach it to one chart. It will automatically manage trades for all currency pairs from that single chart, so there's no need to add it to each pair separately.
Next, open any currency pair or symbol from your broker's market watch list by right-clicking and selecting "Chart new window" (In this example we are using the EURUSD chart).
A new window for the selected currency pair or symbol will appear.
It does NOT matter which timeframe you choose. We do recommend using a major Forex currency pair (EURUSD, USDCAD, etc.) or symbol (US30, DAX, etc.) for the chart.
Congratulations, you have now successfully prepared the chart for the R-50 bot!
