Maintenance

This section of the documentation will answer commonly asked questions regarding the maintenance of the R-10, R-50 and R-400 products.

System Health Check​

To ensure that your trading system (R-10, R-50, or R-400) is running optimally, it's important to perform regular checks. Below is a maintenance checklist to help you verify that everything is functioning correctly.

  • To confirm the correct setup of your system, the following information should be visible on your chart:
    • The message Connected to: ExpertTech (ExpertTech = R-50, ExpertTech2 = R-400, ExpertTech3 = R-10) is visible
    • The message Last heartbeat: <DATE> is visible and shows the current time and date (UTC timezone)

Confirm Connection Status​

  • Broker Connection
    • Verify that your MetaTrader terminal is connected to your broker’s server (bottom right of MT4/MT5 should show green bars)

VPS Subscription​

  • Subscription Status
    • Ensure that your VPS subscription is active and paid to prevent unexpected downtime
  • Payment Verification
    • Check that your payment method is valid and that there are no failed transactions.
  • Broker VPS Eligibility
    • If using a broker-provided VPS, confirm that you still meet the eligibility criteria to continue the service
